Welcome to Lets Belong

Let’s Belong, established in January 2022, is a not-for-profit Small Supports Provider that aims to shape the opportunities available to disabled people, and others at risk of exclusion, and provide them with the individual support required to live valued lives, as they choose, and within their community.

Let’s Belong started as a small family provider, to fill a void in the social care arena for person-centred community support. We work with those holding individual budgets who are most in need of personalised supports to protect their life within local communities. An individual budget may be held by the person or paid directly, either by the budget holder or the funder, to the organisation in the form of an ISF (Individual Service Fund). Let’s Belong will then hold the ISF and work with the person and their family or representative(s) to ensure the budget is used to support the person to meet their outcomes. This way the person can be in full control of their funding allowing them to use it flexibly and effectively to get a good service and, ultimately, a gloriously ordinary life

We believe everyone

Is of equal value

Is unique

Has the ability to develop

Has the right to enjoy valuable relationships

Has the right to lead the life they choose

Has the right to benefit, without discrimination, from the opportunities and services available to other local citizens

All of Let’s Belong activity is centered around the people that we work for, based on input from the individual, their families and other people close to them, to support them in the pursuit of full and meaningful lives. By individualising the services we provide we are immediately treating people with respect and giving them control over how they live their lives.

We employ staff who engage, enable, and have a strong belief in inclusion, seeking to ensure that each individual can participate in activities of their choice, meet with their friends, and be a part of their local community; in short, to live their chosen best life.
